OTH AKADEMİ | What Is the Courier SRC Certificate?
As of 2026, anyone who wants to work as a motorcycle courier is required to obtain an SRC Courier Certificate. Certain documents, driving licence requirements, and criminal record criteria must be met in order to obtain this certificate. Below, you can find detailed information about all officially required documents and application requirements.
1. Required Documents for the SRC Courier Certificate
The SRC Courier Certificate application cannot be submitted without the following documents:
- Copy of Driving Licence — e-Government or Population Directorate Must be valid and not expired.
- Copy of Identity Card — e-Government or Population Directorate Current Turkish ID card.
- Criminal Record Certificate — e-Government or Courthouse Must have been issued within the last 3 months.
- Biometric Photograph — Photographer Taken within the last 6 months and compliant with biometric standards.
- Copy of Diploma — e-Government or School At least primary/secondary school graduation is required.
2. Driving Licence Requirements (A1 – A2 – A Class)
A motorcycle driving licence is mandatory for the SRC Courier Certificate application. A Class B driving licence alone is not sufficient.
Valid driving licence classes:
- A1 Licence — Motorcycles up to 125cc
- A2 Licence — Motorcycles up to 35 kW
- A Licence — Unlimited, all motorcycles
3. Which Offences Are Considered Disqualifying?
According to the regulation dated January 29, 2026, individuals with a finalised conviction for the following offences cannot obtain an SRC Courier Certificate:
- Intentional homicide / aggravated bodily injury
- Sexual offences
- Drug-related offences
- Theft, fraud, and breach of trust
- Terrorism-related offences
Important Note: If your criminal record is clear, including archived records, there is no issue. Traffic fines and administrative fines are not recorded in criminal records and do not prevent an application.
4. Psychotechnical Assessment Requirement (2026)
- A psychotechnical assessment is not mandatory for the initial SRC Courier application.
- A psychotechnical test is required during certificate renewal periods, once every 5 years.
5. Total Cost of the SRC Courier Certificate in 2026
The current total cost for 2026 is:
- Course fee: TRY 9,505 (including VAT)
- Ministry of National Education examination fee: TRY 1,250
- Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure card fee: TRY 264

SRC Courier Certificate Application Process
The following steps show the official process for obtaining an SRC Courier Certificate:
Prepare the required documents
Your driving licence, identity card, criminal record certificate, diploma and biometric photograph are required for the application.
Register with an MEB-approved SRC course
You begin the training process by registering with an authorised institution.
Complete the SRC Courier training
The training covers traffic safety, professional competence and courier-related legislation.
Take the MEB examination
You must pass the examination to become eligible to receive the certificate.
Submit your UAB card application
After passing the examination, the certificate is issued after payment of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure card fee.
Receive your certificate
Once your SRC Courier Certificate has been approved, it can be viewed through e-Government.
